[FAN STORY] Breaking into "Wild In The Country" filming set (1960)
Elvis Presley with fan Cheryl Bass (1960).
Some Elvis fans broke into the "Wild In The Country" filming set (Wild in the Country started filming in November 1960), among them a young girl named Cheryl Bass (who tell us this story), and camped outside Elvis' bungalow hoping to see their idol as soon as he finished the shootings for the day.
They did met Elvis and the star was amazed, wondering how they could have done this with all the security around, but he was not in the slightest mad or anything. He actually laughed his ass out, so loud he unfortunately brought one of the studio's policeman's attention to his devoted fans presence in there.
The guy wanted to guide the girls out of the filming set but Elvis did intercede for them, probably saying he didn't mind having them there — in Cheryl's words: "He stuck up for us," — but the policeman didn't listen. Probably he was following straight orders to keep curious eyes away from the filming set.
What is the most amazing thing is: On their way out, Elvis threatened the policeman saying, "Harm a hair on those pretty heads, sir, and I'll have your badge."

I’m just sitting here overwhelmed with emotion at what a beautiful man this was. You hear so many stories now about celebrities being rude to fans (and I understand sometimes this could be warranted), but this man would always do what he could to show appreciation to his fans. He made time for them whenever he could, he accepted their gifts, he never made them feel bad or weird for loving him so much. The fact that he named “talking to fans at the gate” as one of his activities when he was at home - he really just incorporated them into his routine to show them how important they were to him. His heart is so loving, so precious. ❤️

This may be a prickly subject, and I'm sorry if so. But I'm trying to learn more about Elvis, and every time I bring him up to people I know, they try to tell me he was this terrible person, and point me toward Priscilla's book, the movie made on it, and the discourse. Idk if you've talked about it on here (I tried searching your blog but couldn't find anything on it). If you're willing, I'd love to hear your take on it so I can see a more nuanced view.
The film Priscilla was greenlit roughly a month after Priscilla herself was informed that she was close to becoming financially insolvent in 2022. With a business partner, Brigitte Kruse, who allegedly helped broker the film deal, she established a limited liability company called Priscilla Presley Partners that was supposed to use her image and likeness to create several lines of merchandise to coincide with the film's release. That business partner is now suing Priscilla because she did not have the rights to her image or likeness, or any ability to use the Presley name, because she had already sold all of those rights and was no longer considered in good standing with Graceland or Elvis Presley Enterprises. The entire business deal, then, according to the lawsuit, was built on her misrepresentation of how much her image was worth.
The deal between the two of them fell apart after Riley Keough, Lisa Marie's daughter and Priscilla's granddaughter, settled with Priscilla to give her a lump sum of $1 million from Lisa Marie's estate and yearly amounts of $100,000. Priscilla sued very shortly after Lisa Marie's death because she thought Lisa Marie's signature on a will had been forged because Priscilla was not included in it. All of the assets were supposed to go directly to Lisa Marie's son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020, and her three daughters, two of whom are still teenagers. Now, part of those assets have been claimed by Priscilla and her other son, Navarone, who has no connection to the Presley family and has stated he is glad Lisa died.
Four months before Lisa's death, Lisa wrote to Sofia Coppola and made it clear she had strong concerns about the Priscilla film and was suspicious of the intentions behind it:
"As his daughter, I don’t read this and see any of my father in this character. I don’t read this and see my mother’s perspective of my father. ... I will be forced to be in a position where I will have to openly say how I feel about the film and go against you, my mother and this film publicly."
Lisa was enormously grateful for efforts put into 2022's Elvis to find her father's soul and to restore his dignity in a world that often turns him and his family into a joke:
"You can feel and witness Baz’s pure love, care, and respect for my father throughout this beautiful film, and it is finally something that myself and my children and their children can be proud of forever."
It is such a strong and powerful statement, to see how much Lisa valued family, not just her father but her own children and their legacy, and how willing she was to speak up no matter what was going on in her personal life to say what was right. On this and many other things, Lisa and Priscilla's values have rarely been in alignment. A friend and EPE business associate, Joel Weinshanker, said of her, "Lisa couldn't be bought, she couldn't be pushed. If she felt that something wasn't in Elvis' best interest, it was never about money. And she really is the only Presley that you could say that about."
Priscilla, though, has adjusted her stories about her time with Elvis almost every time she discusses it. For a quick example, she said in her book, which was released in 1985, that Elvis insisted she do her hair and makeup a certain way, that he had control over her look and would get upset if she didn't dress how he wanted. But in an interview with Ladies' Home Journal in 1973, she said that she made a deliberate choice to attend makeup school so that she could learn how to style herself, and that it was her idea to wear big, black hair and big, black eyeliner. She said she was embarrassed for going overboard. She said, "I wish that Elvis had said something, but he must have liked it because he never commented." This lines up with recollections from Patti Parry, a platonic friend of Elvis' and a hairstylist, who said Priscilla always wanted Patti to do her hair in a "big boombah," but that Priscilla would then get upset when Elvis didn't notice or didn't like it.
These changes are impossible not to notice if you follow her for any length of time. At the film premiere, she said it felt just like watching her life and said she was consulted on everything, since she was an executive producer. After the film came out, she said she couldn't understand why Coppola had changed so much about the story and misrepresented events. In the '70s, she said she and Elvis lived almost totally separate lives, that she came and went as she pleased, and that she loved this freedom. Later, she said she felt completely stifled and trapped and never left the house, even though she had friends she went out with all the time. In 2019, she tweeted a forceful denial about a National Enquirer story: "This is the Enquirer folks... please don't believe everything you read. ... Never planned on being buried next to Elvis. What will they come up with next?" But part of her settlement demands in her lawsuit against Riley in 2023 asked "to be buried next to Elvis." This year, she said in two separate interviews that Lisa was with her when Elvis died and that Priscilla had to break the news to her, despite the fact that Lisa was at Graceland when it happened. She has said she gave Elvis the idea to wear belts on his jumpsuits, to have a lightning bolt as his logo, to sing "An American Trilogy," though none of that is true. She retells the story about forcing Elvis to burn all of his spiritual books to prove he loved her as an almost funny anecdote about debrainwashing him, while Elvis later said it was the worst thing he ever agreed to, a desperate attempt to make her happy by giving up the things he valued the most. (For the record, this is my opinion about their relationship on both sides: thinking they could change themselves and each other to make it work. It never did.)
Every secondhand Elvis account has to be treated lightly and only valued for its consistency with known facts and other witnesses. I try to give enormous benefit of the doubt to anyone in the Elvis world because they often only have partial knowledge of what Elvis may have been thinking at any given time, and there are numerous examples of people who were taken advantage of by unscrupulous journalists who changed the story they wanted to tell. But Priscilla's stories sometimes are not even consistent with her own statements, which makes them very poor options indeed to base anything on. However careful we are about noting potential biases and inaccuracies in other memoirs, we have to be triply, quadruply careful with anything in which Priscilla involves herself because she has a vested interest in generating discourse today in order to make money. Unfortunately, Priscilla has a habit of stifling other accounts or making sensationalized statements each time there is a possibility that she will lose some of the cachet that comes with being an Elvis Source—after Elvis' death, when she believed she was going to inherit his airplane and disinvited everyone that Vernon said could fly in it to his funeral; when she sued the parents of one of Elvis' ex-girlfriends after he died because he had allowed them to live rent-free in a house he bought for them; when she claimed that Elvis wanted to reunite with her before his death, despite the fact that he was engaged to someone else and told many people he couldn't see a reunion ever happening with her; before Vernon's death, when she convinced him to make her an executor of the Presley estate until Lisa came of age; after Lisa came of age, when she convinced Lisa to let her stay on as partner; when Lisa accused Priscilla of misspending Lisa's money, during which time anonymous sources cropped up to say Lisa was in debt and drug-addled; when Priscilla was removed from her position as an EPE spokesperson but kept collecting $900,000 a year from the company; when Lisa died, and Priscilla sued once she learned she wasn't in the will; when Priscilla was no longer associated with EPE and decided to do another adaptation of a book that she has since recanted parts of and has contradicted before and after its release.
When Priscilla thinks there is a threat to her image and position, she does new interviews and projects to muddy the waters and stir public interest, whether it is true or false, positive or negative, laudatory or defamatory. She gets corrected by Elvis' surviving family members, girlfriends, friends, and fans, but these stories do not get the same reach no matter how much they are backed by contemporaneous documents and witnesses, or how many resources there are to educate the public on how Elvis' and Priscilla's attitudes about marriage and relationships changed—along with the rest of society—between 1960 and 1970.
I think almost any single-source project is not going to advance our understanding of Elvis in any way because no one individual can speak for him, and we are kind of obligated to include all the context we can in order to appreciate his character, his successes and failures, flaws and virtues—and to treat both himself and those around him as fully three-dimensional people who have their own blind spots. Priscilla is far too aware of her own image, and far too willing to change it to suit the audience, to be particularly valuable here.
She is next scheduled to appear at the Lexington (Kentucky) Comic & Toy Con.
#please know that for each of these stories i have tried to see things from her perspective#and then something happens again#and again and again#so i have simply stopped trying and accepted that i don't like her or find her credible as far as these things go#i don't imagine i should be privy to all their family drama so of course some of this may change over time#but there are far far far better sources for learning about elvis!#an easy gateway would be ashley's adventures and elvis fans matter on youtube!#ashley does a lot of fun documentation of graceland and efm is the family channel of billy and jo smith#they are elvis' cousin and his wife who were with elvis a lot and they have good human stories#same caveat goes for them: they might not know everything#but i just like the format better than books

I don’t understand how the world is romanizing Elvis Presley & Priscilla Beaulieu’s relationship but have R.Kelly locked up, having P.Diddy investigated, Harvey Weinstein locked up, Michael Jackson legacy is tarnished, & wait so many more men. But Elvis gets multiple movies & gets this “God’s gift to music” legacy smh it’s disgusting!
Priscilla was 14 when they met and he groomed her for years until they were married smh it disgust me how Priscilla tries to make it seem normal. Letting Austin Bulter promote that autobiography movie was insane & disgusting. YT people always erasing what they want they literally change history while you living it!
P.S.
Elvis Presley got all his moves from BLACK PEOPLE ANYWAY! Please stop acting like he was the original performer that saved music🙄
P.S.S.
Elvis was a blonde haired man! He was sooo creepy that he dyed his hair black & lied about it for years! I think that’s so creepy to dye your hair & lie & say you are a red haired, blonde haired, & black haired person! Like Eminem he was a dark haired browned haired man but his crazy creepy ass acted like he was a blonde haired man! Elvis & Eminem makes me shake my head so much cause why was dyeing their hair so important!

a Papa Bear story
♡ PART III ♡
Summary: Your best friend invites you over for your first sleepover!
Tags/Warnings: protective!elvis, mentions of corporal punishment
Word Count: 2,858
YOU WERE SO excited. Finally, you'd been old enough to be allowed to take part in your very first sleepover! Your good friend Macy had invited you and, after a brief talk with your momma, plans were underway. After school on Friday, Macy's momma would pick you two up and you'd go to the mall for a bit to shop and walk around and have dinner, and then you'd go to their house to hang out. Macy said they had a whole slew of movies and it was really up to them; in their household things were laxer, and you couldn't wait. You loved your momma and step daddy but gosh, Elvis could be really strict and there didn't always seem to be a rhyme or reason why, at least in your young, early adolescent mind. Since the next day was Saturday, Macy's momma would drop you off sometime in the afternoon, so you could sleep in and just have a ball.
The only thing that concerned you some was your momma hadn't mentioned anything about Elvis knowing about your plans. He wasn't home, on a tour somewhere out west and had been for a few weeks now, and so he wouldn't have known right away anyhow, but usually he liked to be updated and would call frequently, insisting to speak to you. Ever since your conversations, and when you'd become a woman as he called it (you still didn't quite feel that way), he seemed to keep an even keener eye on you. It was not unusual for him to inquire about your who with and how you were spending your time, but not in any sort of way that made you think it was purely out of curiosity. There was always this undercurrent of if you said the wrong thing he'd be angry with you, and even in the few years you'd known him you just couldn't take him being upset with you for any reason.
Macy appeared to have a very different relationship with her daddy. He was often around because he worked a nine to five job, but she talked to him in a way that would have earned you a spanking for being 'disrespectful'. In fact, there seemed to be very few rules in her household, something that made you in awe of and somewhat frustrated. After all, why couldn't you get to do what you wanted whenever you wanted and how you'd like it?
Macy's momma waved to you from her minivan, smiling. She was leant up against it, smoking, as she waited for you two to finish up and walk over. "Great to see you, Y/N!" She brought you in for a hug, already feeling very familiar. Her affection was a nice change of pace from your momma who you loved but wasn't oft to show it so demonstrably as your daddy. She gave Macy the same treatment with an added zealous kiss on the crown of her head. "Feel like getting some ice cream on the way?" She asked, going around to the driver's side. "I know we probably shouldn't spoil our dinners, but, what the heck, I say?!"
"Yay!" Macy cried, and your eyes widened as you looked at her in excitement. "Could we really?" You asked.
"Sure, why not? It's Friday, and you girls are always working so hard in school. You deserve a treat!"
It was hot as Hades, and so the line was unexpectedly short. Not long after you were on your way to the mall with three single scoop ice cream cones in hand, and the windows down letting in some much needed breezy air. "Any shops you girls want to look at in particular?"
"Oh, well, there's this jewelry store I wanna look at. How about you, Y/N?"
"I didn't have any I thought of, I'd be happy to just walk around with you."
Macy turned you, suddenly mischievous. "Ooh, what if we run into some cute boys from school?"
You paused in licking your ice cream cone, unable to stop your glance from flicking between your friend her mom, who seemed preoccupied singing with the song on the radio. "Oh, I don't know."
"Why not? I heard Tommy comes here all the time." Tommy was a boy in your class that Macy really liked. You just thought he was annoying, but his friend was a lot nicer you thought. You just never tried anything because of the conversation you recalled with your step daddy. He'd been pretty clear about how he felt about boys.
"Y/N!" Macy moved a hand in front of your face to get your attention.
"Yeah, maybe. We're just there to have fun though."
The first shop you went into was the one that Macy was set on. It was sort of girly, but had jewelry and earrings for every kind of piercing you could put in your ear. "Look at me!" She cried, looking from the mirror to you in a whole set of costume jewelry.
"You look so cool," you agreed.
Later on you found a case of different sunglasses and tried those on, striking ridiculous poses to each other. Marcy's momma was always near but didn't supervise you closely. She was sitting on a bench outside one of the stores you were in thumbing through a magazine with Grace Kelly on it.
Macy's hand came on you suddenly and she leaned in to whisper in your ear, "don't look now, but I think that's Tommy and his friend over by the hot dog stand. I said don't look!"
"How am I supposed to see them?"
She sighed. "Well, fine, but just don't make it obvious. I don't want them to think we're some kind of creeps staring!"
You refrained from telling her that was exactly what you were right now, but did as she bade. Inconspicuously you saw his friend was the one you had a small crush on, Danny. They were both pretty oblivious, talking and laughing and carrying on in their own little bubble.
"Should I go up to them and say something?" Macy asked. "What do you think?"
"I don't know—"
"You're right, too forward. maybe we should pretend to walk in front of them and not see them, and they'll say something? Then it was their idea."
"I guess." You didnt want to come off as a stick in the mud, but you kept hearing your daddy's words in the back of your head. If he knew you were even thinking of talking to boys he'd be furious with you. And with your momma for allowing it to happen. As if it was her job to guard you. Again you felt some resentment creeping in: Macy didn't have to worry about any of that. It just wasn't fair.
Your inner dialogue was interrupted as Macy tugged on your arm insistently, "come on, let's pretend to walk by them. Tommy better say something," she grumbled. You didn't have any reason to fight her on it and decided to just play along. Macy was pretty demanding when she wanted to be.
The boys hadn't seen you at first, but when Macy made a show of stopping to tie her shoes in front of them they finally noticed you. "Hey, it's, um, Mary, right?" Tommy spoke first, glancing between the two of you. "Macy," she corrected, smiling wider than you'd ever seen her smile. "And you're Tommy, right?"
"Yeah, how'd you know?"
"We have a bunch of classes together. Actually, we sit near each other in home ec. This is my friend, Y/N, she in our grade too."
"Hi," you greet shyly, trying not to look at Danny for too long. He was even cuter up close!
"Y/N," Danny said, "I remember you. You're the girl who's super good with numbers!" He seemed very impressed by this, and you were tickled that he noticed you, even if it was for something pretty nerdy.
"Thank you! And um, you're really good in English."
"Yeah, maybe we should tutor each other," he laughs. He doesn't realize you latch onto this, desperately hoping it could happen. You could see it now.
Tommy's digging his hands into his jean pockets, swaying back and forth on his heel. "Well, I reckon we should probably get going. Got a movie we're seein' tonight."
"Without your folks?" You asked.
The boys turned to look at each other and laughed. "Yeah, our folks trust us, you know."
No, you didn't, but you nodded like you did.
"It's a real scary one," Danny added. "'The Bloodening', it's called. Have you gals heard of it?"
"Woah, that's a real creepy one!" Macy said, and you mirrored her expression as if you had any idea of what they were talking about.
"Yeah, so we better get goin'. Nice to run into ya though. You girls take care all right?"
"We will!"
"Thanks!" You said.
Macy turned to you afterwards and giggled. "Why did you thank them?"
"I have no idea!" You laughed.
After eating some Chinese for dinner, Macy's momma drove you back to their place. They lived in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of similar looking houses next to each other. It wasn't as nice as Graceland, far from it, but for ordinary folk you think it was pretty nice.
The first thing you did was get changed into your PJs. Macy's were a little blander than yours, and for the first time you felt a little ashamed at how you looked.
"What is that?" She giggled, eyes racing up and down your bunny pajamas. "It's so..."
"So what?" You asked defensively. your daddy had picked it out special for you and you hadn't the heart to tell him it wasn't quite your style anymore but you'd be damned if you let someone else make fun of it, even your good friend.
"Well, you know. It's pretty cutesy, right? Why'd you pick out one like that?"
"All of my PJs are like this," you shrugged your shoulders, turning around to brush your teeth, which as you'd learn was a mistake since you'd dig into a bowl of candy and popcorn for the flick soon.
"What do you mean they're all like that? That?" She asked incredulously.
"Yeah. My daddy picked it out for me and he likes it so I... like it."
You were met with some silence and you glanced in the mirror at Macy who was looking at you a little strangely.
"What?"
"I don't know, Y/N, that's sort of weird."
"What, like your parents don't buy you clothes sometimes?"
"Yeah, when I was little little, not now. Well, once in a while mom will take me shopping but it's pretty much up to me what I wanna wear as long as it isn't too racy."
Your brows furrowed as you spit into the sink, washing your mouth out. Was it odd that your daddy still picked your clothes out for you? Macy getting to wear what she wanted was an entirely new concept to you, one you didn't think would be possible until you were at least eighteen and could make your own decisions. Was this what other girls your age were doing?
"Sorry, Y/N, I didn't mean to make you feel any type of way," Macy said, realizing your quiet must have signaled you were upset with her and feeling self-conscious.
"You didn't," you lied.
"Well, if I did, I'm sorry anyhow. I mean, we're all brought up different, I guess... I guesss if your daddy still wanted to pick out your clothes for you that ain't got anything to do with me. Just thought it was a bit weird is all."
"Yeah..."
"Come on, let's go watch that movie! It's an action one. You like that kind of stuff?"
"Oh, yeah!"
"Momma's bringing in some candy and popcorn for us. Guess I should have said that before you started brushing your teeth," she smiled.
You followed her out to the living room as she set the movie up. It was a much smaller screen than you were used to, and it took some finagling to get it the way you needed it to see properly. As the movie started you began ruminating on all that had transpired earlier in the day and it became hard to focus on the plot. Just how different was your life made out to be, you wondered, and was all of it really for the right reasons?
The next morning you woke early to the sound of hushed voices arguing. Glancing to your right, you saw Macy was knocked out cold, drool lining her pillow. The time, which was visible on the nightstand in between your respective beds, read '6:05AM'. Thinking this might have been Macy's dad, you nearly went back to bed but you caught sight of a familiar looking Cadillac parked diagonally on the driveway. If you looked closer you could see slight squeal marks. you'd seen the car enough times to not have any doubt in your mind who it belonged to.
Your step daddy Elvis was here.
Walking quiet as a church mouse around Macy and further still to the door, you cracked it open a smidge to listen in on the heated discussion, knowing you'd be able to hear from your position; Macy said she listened to her parents all the time as voices carried easily up the landing outside her bedroom.
"...You can't just burst in here like this, Elvis...." This was clearly Macy's momma talking. "Yes, I know who you are, but it's unreasonably early and... that's nice you don't care, but what I'm saying is it's just not right... okay, I accept your apology, but please don't...!"
There was a slight crash and the sound of heavy footsteps thudding up the stairs. When you looked up it was your step daddy, eyes burning and fists clenched at his side. He looked like he'd just come back from his tour, wearing fancier clothing than he usually did while home. When he took notice of you by the door, he deflated some, although the ire in his eyes never disappeared.
"Girl, you are in a lotta trouble. Wait till I get my hands on you!"
"Elvis, daddy, please don't! I'm having a lot of fun here! It's my first time!" You begged.
"Your first—" his mouth open and shut like a fish. "What in blue blazes are you talkin' about, honey?!"
"My first sleepover," you replied morosely. And your last, judging by how upset Macy's momma sounded. The normally calm and collected woman sounded angrier than you'd ever heard her. You could just see her forbidding her daughter from talking with you again. You couldn't lose your best friend because of your daddy's temper, you just couldn't!
Elvis let out a deep sigh and turned his head and eyes skyward, as if asking for some divine intervention. "God help me..." He muttered, seeing your eyes tearing up now; it made him feel somethin' awful.
Looking back down at you and kneeling on one knee, he said, "I didn't realize how important this was to you, cupcake. I just wish your momma would'a let me in on what was happenin'. And you," his anger flared to life again, "how many times we talk on the phone and you ain't mention no 'sleepover, Elvis'."
"It was only last minute," you said, looking down.
"Uh huh." It was obvious he didn't believe you. You didn't know it, but you always had a tell of avoiding eye contact when you were fibbing, and Elvis had learned that early on.
"I'm sorry, Daddy." You ran into his arms to hug him in hopes he would calm down and go easy on you. Your touch was always soothing to him, and you were learning to use it to your advantage.
"Can't you see Daddy was worried, baby? I come home to find you not in your bed and your momma sayin' you went off with some people I don't know, never met... gotta understand it from my point of view, honey," he pulled you to arm's reach to look you in the eye.
"Yes, Daddy, I get it."
"You will," he said, raising a brow, "that lil' tush a' yours, cute though it may be, is gonna be mighty red when I'm through with it. I need you to be honest with me, darlin', and if that's the only way I'm gonna get it through that thick skull then I will."
Your eyes widened. Surely he hadn't meant right here and now?
Chuckling lowly, he mused your hair. "Not right now, honey. Later. When we're back in Graceland."
"You mean I can stay?"
He eyed you up and down for a moment, considering. "Oh please, Daddy! I'll do anything to stay! Please let me!"
"When you due back home?" He asked, scratching his chin.
"Only a few hours. They said they'd take me back early afternoon. Or Momma was gonna pick me up."
He pursed his lips. "I'll pick you up."
"I can stay?"
"Yes, sweet thing, you can stay."

This is the Story: Epilogue
A/N: You know I couldn't leave Elvis and Grace forever. I love them too much. So here is a fun little epilogue of them together that makes my heart sing. I hope it brings you joy as well!
Warnings: 18+ minors DNi. Kissing, fingering, p in v penetrative sex, unprotected sex, creampie. Also pregnancy and birth.
Word count: ~1.2k (this is just a lil drabble for ya)
Epilogue
Elvis wakes up to notice that Grace is not in the bed. He has a moment of panic, realizing his pregnant wife is gone. He jumps out of bed, grabs a robe, and heads down the stairs to see if he can find her. Eventually, he does and he laughs. She's in the kitchen eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon.
"Honey, you scared me!" She smiles sheepishly.
"I'm sorry, E. I woke up starving." He walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her, resting his hands on her very pregnant belly. She's due any day now, so the baby is low on her hips.
"I told you to wake me up when you wake up." She takes another spoonful and answers with the peanut butter thick on her tongue.
"I know; I'm sorry. You were just sleeping so good." He takes the spoon from her hand and sets it on the counter. Then, he turns her towards him and holds her, swaying gently. He starts humming and then begins to sing.
"And I love you so
The people ask me how
How I've lived till now
I tell them I don't know
I guess they understand
How lonely life has been
But life began again
The day you took my hand
And yes, I know how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me 'n' the night won't set me free
But I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me
And you love me, too
Your thoughts are just for me
You set my spirit free
I'm happy that you do
The book of life is brief
And once a page is read
All but love is dead
That is my belief
And yes, I know how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me and the night won't set me free
But I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me"
They slow dance as he sings. She'll never stop loving the sound of his voice as he holds her.
He leans down and kisses her lips softly. He kisses her again more passionately this time and they're both overcome with a need for each other. She's constantly surprised at how much he wants her, even with her pregnant belly. But what she doesn't know is that carrying his child has made her sexier than she's ever been to him. He reaches down below her stomach and rubs his finger on her clit through her panties. All she's wearing is a nightgown, so he has relatively easy access to her. He pushes her panties to the side and slips a finger inside her. She moans into his mouth and he continues what he's doing with his hand. She reaches her hand down and feels his hardening cock.
"You want me?" She asks coyly.
"You know I do, honey." He responds, his hips bucking into her hand. He turns her around so that she's bending over the counter and pulls his dick out of his pants, dragging her panties down her long legs. He bends his knees slightly and enters her pussy from behind, groaning with the sensation of her around him. He begins to pump in and out of her with more speed, reaching his hand around to rub her clit. He slides in and out of her quicker and quicker, moving his other hand up to massage her breast gently. She feels her orgasm tightening and then the release washes over her, sending heat from her center to her extremities and back again. It doesn't take long for his climax to follow hers.
"Fuck, yes, Grace, baby." He cries out as he pumps into her weakly a few more times. He turns her around to face him and kisses her mouth deeply. He pulls her panties up and puts himself away as they stand in the kitchen together, breathing heavily.
"I love you so much, honey." He whispers as he kisses her neck.
"I love you too, Elvis." She whispers in return.
Just then, there's a small pop and she's wet all of a sudden.
"Elvis! Something happened." He looks at her concerned.
"What? What happened?"
"I think my water broke." Panic sets in and his eyes flash.
"Really? Do we need to go?" A contraction slams into her and she holds onto his shoulders.
"Yes. Yes we do."
******
At the hospital, Elvis runs around frantically trying to make sure Grace has everything that she needs.
"E. Calm down." She tries to reassure him. "This isn't the first time for either of us."
"I know, but I just want to make sure you have everything just right." Just then, another contraction hits her and she reaches out for his hand. He comes close and takes her hand.
"As long as you're here, I have everything I need." She says through gritted teeth as the contraction washes over her. He stretches his hand as she breathes and then gives it back to her.
Her labor continues for several hours as Elvis tries to stay in the room instead of pacing outside the door. The nurses try to usher him out several times, but he refuses to leave.
"I'm staying with my wife!" He hollers when they try to encourage him outside. When it's finally time to push, the nurses give up and focus their attention on Grace. The doctor finally comes in, ready to do his part.
"About damn time, doc." Elvis groans.
"Babe, let the doctor do his job." Grace whines. He stops antagonizing the doctor and directs his attention to her.
"What do you need, honey?"
"Just you. Come stand here and hold my hand." She starts to push and Elvis is amazed at her strength. He wasn't able to be in the room when Lisa Marie was born, so he's not exactly sure what to expect. After another 20 minutes, the doctor catches the baby.
"It's a boy!" He hollers as the nurses take him to clean him off.
"A boy?" Elvis looks at Grace with tears in his eyes. She rests against the pillows on her hospital bed and smiles softly.
"I had a feeling."
They hand her the baby and she sits up to hold him. Elvis leans in close, sitting on the side of the bed. He pulls back the edge of the blanket to get a better look at his son. He's beautiful, with his blue eyes and her dark hair.
"Can we call him John Jesse?" She looks up at him.
"Of course we can."
******
A few days later, everyone is home and settled. This time Grace wakes up to an empty bed. She goes to get up and hears Elvis's voice. He's in the rocking chair they've put in their room next to the crib. He's holding John Jesse close to him and singing quietly.
"You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine,
you make me happy when skies gray
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away."
The scene warms Grace's heart and she sinks back into bed against the thick pillows as he continues to sing. Her heart is so full of love for her husband and her son. The story of how they built this beautiful life together is her favorite of all time. Their family is happy and she can't imagine loving anyone more than the way she loves Elvis right now in this moment.
Tomorrow, they'll introduce the baby to his sisters. But tonight? Tonight is just for them and the love that they've built together. Elvis lays the baby back in his bed and comes to her side. He nuzzles into her neck and kisses her gently.
"I love you always, Grace Presley."
"And I love you, Elvis. Forever."
They sink into the bed together, happy to know that they'll never be apart again. This family is theirs and nothing can tear it apart.
******
The End
(For real, this time.)

“He took me up to Lisa's bedroom which was just across the way from his bedroom. I remember him taking me up there because he wanted me to see her and meet her but she was sleeping so he picked her up in his arms and he held her and brought her to me from her big round white bed. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and I said ‘Elvis, she is a beautiful little girl and you have much to be proud of’ and he turned to me and whispered in my ear as Lisa was still sleeping ‘she is my heart’…”

Lock the door, next time (smut)
There is a bit of jumpscare in this… the ugly monster Colonel Parker 👹
Warnings: 18+ content, sex, fingering, creampie, colonel Parker.
Me next Elvis… please I’m begging you! Already on my knees for you hehe
As he looked at you with a lustful gaze, Elvis began to kiss and lick his way down your body, making you shiver with pleasure. When he reached your inner thighs, he paused, looking up at you with a wicked grin. "Oh baby you’re so wet for me" he asked, his breath hot against your skin. You could only nod, unable to form words as desire consumed you. He leaned in, his tongue flicking over your sensitive skin, and you gasped, arching your back. As he continued to explore you with his mouth, you felt yourself getting closer and closer to the edge. "Elvis, I'm gonna..." you moaned, but he didn't stop. Instead , he increased the pressure and speed of his tongue, pushing you over the edge as you cried out his name. Your body shook with pleasure as he continued to lap at your wetness, prolonging your orgasm until you were completely spent. He climbed back up to you, his lips brushing against yours as he whispered, "You taste so sweet, honey." You pulled him in for a deep kiss, tasting yourself on his lips. For a brief moment you stopped, You couldn't help but admire the beauty of Elvis in that moment, with his eyes dark with desire and his lips puffy and red from kissing you. His messy jet black hair and iconic sideburns were tingling against your fingers as you ran them through his hair, feeling a sense of pure bliss. As you kissed Elvis deeply, you couldn't help but think how lucky you were to be in this moment with him. His hands roamed over your body, and you moaned into his mouth as his fingers found their way inside you once again. He broke the kiss, leaning back to look at you with a smirk on his face. "You like that, huh?" he asked, his voice low and seductive. You scream out his name, while his fingers kept hitting your sensitive spot “Elvis!… I-I oh gosh!” He slipped his fingers out you, unbuttoned his pants and climbed on top of you once again, his hard length pressing against your entrance. You could feel his breath hot against your neck as he whispered in your ear, "Are you ready for me, baby?" You nodded, unable to find the words to speak as you wrapped your legs around him, pulling him closer. He slowly pushed into you, filling you up completely as you moaned in pleasure. You rocked your hips against his, urging him to go faster and harder as he thrust into you with increasing speed. You could feel the tension building in your body, the pleasure coursing through you as Elvis moved inside you, hitting all the right spots.
You gripped his back tightly, your nails digging into his skin, he groaned at the feeling. You both were lost in desire you didn’t realize how loud you guys was. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. You both froze, looking at each other with wide eyes. "Shh, be quiet," Elvis whispered. He was still moving slowly in you, causing you to let a small moan out. He quickly wrapped his fingers around your mouth to silence you. You looked up at him with a naughty grin, biting his finger playfully as you lifted your hips to meet his slow movements. Elvis couldn't help but groan at the sensation, his eyes locking onto yours as he continued to rock into you. “Elvis” a deep voice came from the other side of the door. But the sound of your moans where overlapping the voice. The sound of your moans and his grunts mixed together, creating a symphony of pleasure that echoed throughout the room. He couldn't resist kissing you again, his lips capturing yours in a fiery kiss as his hands roamed over your body. You could feel his desire building, and you knew that you were both close to the edge. As you broke away from the kiss, gasping for breath, he whispered in your ear, "I'm gonna make you come so hard, baby." And with that, he began to move faster, his thrusts becoming harder and more intense. You could feel the heat building inside you, your body trembling with the force of your impending orgasm. And as Elvis plunged deep inside you, hitting all the right spots, you cried out his name, your pleasure washing over you in waves. As you came down from the high, Elvis continued to move inside you, his own release not far behind. With one final thrust, he exploded inside you, groaning your name as he spilled himself into you. You both froze as you heard the door open, and your eyes widened in shock as you saw Colonel Parker standing there, his expression unreadable. Elvis quickly pulled out of you and jumped off the bed, frantically buttoning up his pants while you tried to cover yourself with the sheets. “Elvis… some people tend to answer when their name get called out, but i see you are a busy man” Colonel Parker's voice was stern and commanding. “Just get fixed up, my boy! And next time don’t be so loud… the whole hotel has heard you two” Parker said before closing the door. Elvis let out a sigh of relief, then turned to you with a smirk. "Looks like we've got to be a bit more quiet from now on, baby," he said, and you couldn't help but laugh.

Eternal Bond - One shot Halloween Story
One shot Halloween story with all the stuff we like (fluff, smut, but watch out...sadness too) Hope you like it!
Summary: How much can a life change in just one night, if the man who loves you turns out to be an immortal vampire?
Warnings: 18+, fluff/smut, sex in shower, blood, vampire bites, death
Word cunt: 4501
You finally took your decision and quit your job. You were tired of seeing always the same people, every night. It was almost two years since you worked in that horrible night club, but you were sure that this wasn’t supposed to be your life. You couldn’t imagine that life was about to change forever.
The last night of work, you left the club with a heavy heart, not knowing what would become of you after all those years and you took your way home. Suddenly you noticed a dark shadow behind you. You turned around and right there, in front of your eyes, there was the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen. Incredibly tall and thin with hair black as the darkest night and a pair of eyes blue as the deepest sea.
He approached you and he stopped just a few steps away, looking right into your eyes: “Hi!”
As he spoke, you could feel his deep voice echoing in your ears like an old song.
You tried to ignore him and walked away, but fast as a lighting, he was at your side again: “Ain’t ya talkin’ to me?” he asked gently.
You kept walking without looking at him. You found him a little creepy and you wanted to get home as soon as possible. “Do I know you?” you asked.
He smiled and kept walking by your side: “No, but I think we could get to know each other pretty soon! Do ya like the idea?” he asked standing right in front of you avoiding you to walk away.
“My name’s Elvis…what’s yours hun’?” he asked holding out his hand.
You were very suspicious about that man, you felt inside your heart that he meant trouble. But a strange force made your hand raise onto his: “I…I’m y/n!”
“Y/n…lovely!” He kissed your hand and your body shivered as you felt his lips touching your skin: they were cold as ice, despite it was a warm night. “Where ya off to?” he asked.
“I…I just quit my job and I’m going home!” you answered not being able to keep your eyes away from him.
“Why don’t we go for a drink instead? I would like to know more about ya!” he asked gently. You thought about it for a while, then, without even realizing it, you were walking away with him, right by his side, his hand holding yours.
“I think we should go to my place…if that’s okay with ya…” he suggested.
“To…your place?” you asked confused, feeling strange. That man could have made you do anything.
“I have a special way to make you forget about everything, a surprise if ya wanna say…ya comin’?”
Your last defence came down and you followed him like a baby follows his own father. After a while, he stopped in front of a great mansion. You couldn’t even remember if it has always been there. Stunned, you walked beside him and as he opened the door you walked inside.
“Ya look nervous baby…is everything okay?” he asked with his hands on your shoulders.
“Yes I’m…I’m fine. Can I..use the bathroom?” you asked embarrassed.
He smiled and caressed your cheek: “Of course ya can sweetheart, but I have a better idea. Why don’t ya take a shower? It’ll help ya relax!”
You couldn’t believe your ears. Was he really asking that?
“Don’t be embarrassed hun, it’s alright. In fact, maybe I could come with ya!”
Your jaw fell right on the floor. Not only he was asking you to take a shower in his own bathroom, but he was suggesting you to have it with him.
“Well…yes…I mean…no…oh God…I’m so nervous…!” you stuttered like a baby.
“Don’t worry hun, you’ll be much more comfortable after. You’ll see.” He said opening the bathroom door: “Go ahead and make yourself at home.
As you entered the bathroom you looked around you and opened your eyes wide. Everywhere you watched, you saw gold. Pure and cold gold. “I’ll be right back!” he closed the door leaving you there alone. You stood in front of the mirror and you looked at yourself. Was it really happening? Was it a dream? You couldn’t figure out. Just like under a magic spell you undressed yourself as he looked at you from the keyhole. You were about to take off your panties as he opened the door and stood in front of you completely naked. He was like a Greek statue, with every muscle and every inch of skin perfectly made. You looked away and blushed. He smiled and walked into the shower, grabbing your hand to take you inside with him. He started to caress every inch of your body. “Ya look so perfect hun…” he said as his hand lowered down to the fabric of your panties, moving them aside.
He kissed you and held you tight against his body, while his hand gently caressed your needing pussy, making you gasp: “Looks like my lil’ cutie pie is already wet for me, uh!?” he said sliding down your panties and throwing them aside. Then he kissed your legs, starting from your ankles and going back up to your thighs. You trembled under the touch of his kisses, feeling again the coldness of his lips. You felt helpless. You didn’t know how to stop him and after a while you let him have his way with you.
He stood up and he ran his hands through your hair as he pushed you in the shower and opened the hot water that starts to flow on your bodies. “Ya like that, don’t ya? Ya want more? I know that ya do!” and as he said that, he picked you up and put you against the wall of the shower, pushing himself between your legs.
You gasped as you felt his hard cock moving against your core. “Oh God…”
“I’m dyin’ to touch ev’ry inch of your body…I need ya so much baby! I can’t wait to have ya!” he whispered in your ear. He was claiming you forcefully, but at the same time he was very gentle and you felt so loved and wanted that you couldn’t stop him: “I love your lips baby…they’re so soft…they’re really turnin’ me on!”
He kissed you again, pushing his tongue inside of your lips: “You’re a wonderful girl…an almost perfect woman. You deserve all my love and my kisses. I wanna give ya the best pleasure of your life!”
He took off your wet hair from your face as he looked at you. Ya like it when I touch ya like this?” he asked as he moved again on your pussy “Can I continue?”
“You can do what you want!” you answered moaning.
“That’s what I longed to hear. Don’t ya worry, I’m very good at this, I’ll show ya!”
“I have no doubts…” your voice came out of your throat like a whisper.
“Keep bein’ a good girl f’me, ‘kay?” he said starting to move hardly against you and pushing himself deeper. He ran a hand over your body and he kept kissing you, whispering in your ear: “Ya know…I can make ya feel things ya never felt before. Do ya want me to show ya?”
“Y-yes Elvis…please…”
He brought you down from the wall and as you stood on your feet again, he kissed your neck, holding it with both of his hands. He caressed your throat too: “So soft…and tender…”
He held you tight: “Ya know what I like about ya? You’re so pure and so perfect.”
You stood in silence as he kept moving. He noticed your silence: “Is everything okay, sweetheart?”
“I’m fine, don’t worry, don’t stop!” you answered.
“I like the way ya react y/n! Ya deserve to feel pleasure, I think we both are gonna enjoy it very much!”
He took off your hair from your face and he kissed your cheek. Then he asked you the strangest question you’ve ever heard: “Can I taste ya?”
You pulled yourself back a bit and looked at him: “What??”
“I wanna taste your lips, your ears, your cheeks…I couldn’t imagine you would be so…soft and tender!”
His words sent a shiver down your spine. What was he talking about? His hands were exploring every part of your body: “Do ya feel good?”
“I…yes, I feel...so good!”
“That’s how I like it…you’re doin’ great! I want this night to last forever, sweetheart! Ya have no idea how much I like the way ya taste, I could literally eat ya!” he whispered while he kept touching you.
“Where do ya want me to touch ya? Where should I go?” he asked. You grabbed his hand and moved it back down, right between your legs.
“That’s my naughty lil’ girl…is this what ya really want? Then I’m gonna do everything to please ya!” he said sliding a finger inside you and rubbing your sensitive clit. As he teased your pussy inside and outside, he kept kissing your neck and you felt shivering: “Ya need this and ya need me! You’re so perfect…I knew that I was gonna have fun with ya!”
He went back to your neck and he stared at it for a while. He kissed it. He caressed it. He licked it. “Ya like this? Say it! Say ya like it…say you’re enjoying my touch!”
“I…I am…you’re doing perfect, but…” you noticed something you never realized before. Even you were under a flow of hot water, his skin was as cold as ice. “…you’re so…cold…how is it possible? Are ya okay?”
He smiled: “Don’t worry…I have my lil’ tricks. There’s only one way to warm me up. It’ll be fun…I promise!” he grinned. He licked your neck again and gave you a little bite: “I’ve done this before…don’t worry…ya have to trust me!”
“I…I trust ya…” you whispered. His words worried you a little, but you were so intrigued by him that you’d let him do anything.
“Good girl…then open your mouth f’me!” he ordered you cupping your chin. He squeezed your cheeks forcing you to open your mouth and he pushed his tongue inside, playing in every corner. You kissed him back, but you couldn’t help to feel a little fear. He moved back to your neck and bit you again, this time a little harder. You knew something was strange about him, but you couldn’t figure out what it was.
“I’ve never felt like this with a woman before…I think it’s time f’me to do what I was waiting to do!”
You trembled as you heard his words. But it wasn’t a bad sensation, it was pure pleasure, that made your head roll back.
“Are ya ready? Ya know what I really wanna do with ya?” he asked you with a grin. You didn’t have the force to answer.
“I’m gonna do a thing that I could even regret maybe…but maybe not! Do ya want to know my secret?” he looked at you with a mysterious look.
You opened your eyes: “Your…secret?”
“I have a very special reason to enjoy ya so much. I have a very special reason for liking ya so much. Let’s just say that ya remind me so much of a special person.”
She pulled back and looked at him: “Who?”
He stopped for a while and turned sad: “My first true love…I can’t believe how much ya look like her! She had exactly the same soft and beautiful skin that ya have! She was the best woman I’ve ever met and I’ve been obsessed with her…” then he stopped talking.
After a long silence he looked up: “She died…many years ago, in this very night! And ya remind me so much of her…it’s almost like you’re a gift from heaven…I won’t let anybody take ya away from me!”
He kept kissing you with hunger. He touched you and after a while he bit your neck again, this time harder than before. You jumped back, hit by the sharp pain: “Oh…God…you have…sharp teeth!”
He caressed you as he looked you with love: “It’s gonna hurt a little, but I’m doing’ it for ya…for us! Do ya trust me?”
You couldn’t say why, but his voice was like a magic spell in your ears and you couldn’t help but nod your head, giving him the right to keep going. He got back to your neck with his lips. He kissed and bit you again, harder and harder and even if it hurt and it burned like fire, you let him do it. You felt your neck sore from his bites and you kept feeling something really weird about him. He got on his knees and grabbed you with his strong hands, then he kissed and licked your belly several times, making you squirm and moan.
He got up and attacked your neck again, biting harder than ever. This time you let out a loud moan as you felt something stinging and burning your skin. You pulled back again and as you rubbed your neck with your hand, you saw a big trace of blood. “Oh my God…”
You started to panic, but he held you tight, avoiding you from passing out: “Sshh, don’t worry y/n, don’t cry…everything’s gonna be alright. I promise!” and as he said that, he leaned on your neck and licked away all the blood. As his tongue passed on your skin, you felt it rubbing and scratching. The heat you felt was almost unbearable.
“Your blood tastes so good y/n, do ya want to know why I love it so much?”
As you felt those words you took a step back and looked at him with eyes full of fear: “No…you can’t be a…”
He stopped you: “Sweetheart, don’t panic now, I have to tell ya something, I have to be honest with ya!”
You knew what he was about to say, but it was so strange that you couldn’t believe it. He took your hands and spoke again: “Ya see y/n, I’m a vampire!” he said, looking at you, as he saw confusion and fear in your eyes. “I know it’s hard to believe it, but I have to be honest and I wanna tell ya the truth and now that ya know it, I’m gonna keep ya safe from everyone, only ya and me. But what I want now is…your blood!”
He kept biting you. His fingers were all over your back and your hair. You tried to say something, but all you could do was moaning in pain and pleasure.
“Baby, I don’t know what’s happening to me…it’s like I’ve known ya for centuries…and I intend to be like this forever. We’ll be together for centuries again!”
You begged him to stop as you looked terrified at your own blood flushing away with the water. You tried to push him away, but his grip was too tight and his teeth didn’t let you go.
With another bite, he started to suck and drink your blood and this time you could feel it leaving your body: “Please…no…” you begged him again to stop, but he didn’t.
“Relax baby, let me make ya feel better than you’ve ever felt before…I’m gonna be with y for the rest of your life…and beyond!”
You suddenly felt so dizzy and light headed that you felt on your knees, still under the shower. He grabbed your body and held you against the wall, giving you a long and tender kiss: “I wanna make ya feel like a goddess tonight!”
He kept sucking and your blood came out faster as the pleasure and the pain became very intense. Your sight blurred and you grabbed onto him, holding yourself from fainting.
“Oh sweetheart, I know how ya feel now, but this is just the beginning. I know this is hard, but it’s gonna get better, I promise, still I think I’m gonna stop for a while now. Ya need some rest and when you’ll wake up I’ll give ya the passion of a lifetime!”
He turned off the water and wrapped you in a towel. Then he gently picked you up in his arms and he lay you down on his bed: “There ya go baby…oh my God, you’re so pretty…” he kept kissing you as he rubbed your body to dry you up, then he sat next to you. You felt the touch of his body, which now was a little warmer, probably thanks to the blood he drank from you. You rest your head on his shoulder with your eyes closed as your body trembled:” I'm c-cold…I feel so weak…”
He hugged you tighter: “I bet ya do, honey…ya just lost a lot of blood and this is your first experience, but you’ll get used to it, don’t worry!” he answered caressing your neck.
“Please, not again…” you begged.
He smiled at you: “No, baby, don’t worry, I’ll take it slow now. Let’s talk a bit now, I wanna know more about ya…ya feel good now?” he asked you gently.
You touched your neck again: “Yes, but…can ya do something for this? It burns like hell!!”
He moved away your hair and whispered in your ear: “Let me show ya a little secret!”
He licked the bite and as he did, you felt a strange but good sensation and the heat that spread from the wound suddenly was gone. “My tongue will fix everything…it’s an old vampire trick!”
“Oh my God, it’s…it’s incredible!” you answered touching your neck again. The pain was completely gone.
“Elvis can I…can I ask you something?” you said looking up at the ceiling.
“Of course, ya can ask me anything!” he answered smiling.
“How long have you been a vampire?” you asked him.
He lay down next to her and his face turned very serious: “For centuries baby! I’ve been walking the Earth for centuries, as one of the creatures of the night. I’ve seen people come and I’ve seen people go. And now I found ya and I wanna protect ya…forever!”
“And what about her?” you asked caressing his hand.
He closed his eyes as if your question brought back some bad memories to him.
You asked again: “When did you meet her? In which century?”
His face changed to a very sad expression as he thought about her: “She was a beautiful girl from the 17th century and she was only sixteen when I met her. She made me fell in love right away. She was just like ya, very beautiful and I wanted her so much.”
Then he tries to hide a tear: “But I was selfish…she was my first victim. I…killed her…and now, here ya are, looking so much like her! But I don’t wanna make the same mistake!”
As he kept talking, you couldn’t help but feeling sad for him: “So…is this the reason why you chose me?”
He wiped away the tears from his eyes: “Yes baby…I picked you because you remind me so much of her…I feel almost like this time I can save her! Maybe I can redeem myself, ‘cause ya know…I’m tired of being a vampire!”
“What? I thought you loved it!” you said.
“Baby…just think about it for a while: I saw all the people I loved passing away…I have to walk this planet for who knows how many years, suffering from losing the people I love…living forever is beautiful, but at the same time it can be a damnation!”
He took his face in his hands and cried. You felt really bad for him and you tried to make him smile again, but it was no use.
“So what are you gonna do now?” you asked.
“I thought ya would be just another meal for me, but now…I can’t y/n, I cant’ hurt you anymore! But I wanna do one last thing if you’re okay with it…”
“What?” you asked with curiosity.
“I wanna make ya like me. I can’t bear the thought of losing you when you’ll die. If ya become like me, I can have ya forever…what do ya say, honey?”
You looked at him in shock: “No…you can’t ask me that, I don’t wanna become a vampire!”
He kneeled in front of you and cried: “Please…I can’t lose ya, I don’t wanna lose ya! Please!”
You turned your back on him: “I said no, I don’t want you to bite me ever again!”
He got up from the floor and put his hands on your shoulder: “There is another way!”
You turned your face and looked at him: “What do you mean?”
He tried to smile, but he was extremely sad and tired: “There’s another way of turning ya into a vampire…without having me drinking your blood, but it’s a little more painful!”
“And what would it be?” you asked.
He stood in silence for a while, then he leaned onto you and whispered in your ear: “Ya have to drink mine!”
You stepped back from him terrified after what you heard from his voice.
“What?? Are you crazy?? I’m not gonna drink your blood! Not now, not ever!”
He was desperate as he asked you again to fulfil his dream: “Y/n please…one way or another…it doesn’t change! We’re meant to be together! Look, I didn’t want to force ya, but ya leave me no choice, I love ya too much to let ya go! I’m sorry baby!”
You stepped back, knowing what he was about to do and you tried to run away. He ran after you and he stopped you right in front of the door. He grabbed you from behind and held you tight in his arms. You tried to get rid of him, kicking and screaming, but he was too strong and you felt that that was his vampire power, as a normal man could have never been so strong.
As he held you, he bit his own wrist, breaking his skin with his fangs and let the blood flood out. You tried again to get free, but he was too strong. He cupped your chin and squeezed, forcing you to open your mouth and he pulled your head back, making ten drops of his red juice going down your throat. He kept your head in place as he forced you to drink: “I’m sorry sweetheart, I’m doin’ it for ya, it’ll be over soon and we’ll be together forever!”
As the last drop of blood went down your throat, he let you go and you coughed violently, feeling the taste of his blood. After a while, you felt it reaching your stomach and you fell on the floor, curled up in pain, like you were burning from your insides.
You let out a scream as he tried to keep you calm: “Honey, don’t fight it…your body is changin’, it’s gonna be okay! Stay with me now, please!”
“It…it hurts so much…I feel like I’m burning…do something!” you cried, holding your belly in pain. He sat behind you and held you tight, rockin’ you in his arms. “It’s okay, take a deep breath, you’ll feel better soon. Trust me!” he whispered kissing the back of your neck. As time passed, your skin turned pale, but you still could feel that burning sensation inside. “Don’t fight it…don’t fight it!” he whispered: “Close your eyes, it’s almost over!”
As he said those words, you closed your eyes and you felt your eyes burning, as they turned to a dark red tone and you felt the blood in your veins running at a very high speed. Your heart pumped harder as you bit your lips and you felt a wave of pleasure rushing through your body, which started to shake as a pair of long and shiny fangs come out of your mouth.
Suddenly the pain was gone. You got up from the floor and you went to the mirror. Then you turned back and ran onto him: “Why did you do this to me?” you asked with a weak voice.
He came to you and he grabbed your face in his hands: “Y/n, it may be hard for ya now, but this is the best thing that ever happened to ya. You’re just like me now and we can stay together forever!”
He got closer to you: “There’s just one last thing and I promise you won’t feel any pain at all!”
He took your hand and put it on his chest: “Can ya feel my heart beating?”
You nodded. It was a lovely sound and you could feel it not just under your hand, but in your ears too. It was like that touch had connected the two of you. He kept talking: “This is what happens when a couple is together: when we’re near to each other, our heart beats get connected…look!”
He put his other hand on your chest and in that right moment you felt your two hearts beating together, at the same pace and at the same time.
“It’s…it’s incredible!” you said looking at him.
“Come with me!” he said gently, taking you by the hand. He took you near the window and made you look outside: “Look at the world out there y/n…that horrible world. We’re too perfect for it!” and as he said that he took you in his arms and kissed you. It was a strong, but desperate kiss. After a while, the first rays of sun fell through the window.
He looked sweetly at you, with his eyes full of tears: “Close your eyes honey!”
You were starting to understand. You knew too well what sun light did to vampire. Strangely, you didn’t feel fear, but a deep sense of calm and peace. Now you realized why he turned you into a vampire: it was the only way to be free forever.
You closed your eyes and held him tight: “I love you!” you whispered.
In that moment he knew that he could even die, because he experienced true love for at least once in his long life.
“I love ya too baby!” he answered.
Your lips touched in a long passionate kiss and as time passed, you felt your skin burning, as the sun light touched your bodies. You both felt tears in your eyes, but your love was much stronger and you kept kissing as you felt the warmth of the sun burning you. He whispered in your ear: "Are ya scared baby?"
“No...just keep…kissing…me!” you begged in pain.
He kept kissing you, pushing his body against yours while you shared this last kiss together. You were burning together in a never-ending moment of passion. Your mouths kept touching as you both moaned in pain and pleasure. Your bodies burned while you kissed and as you kept kissing, you lose touch with everything else, as the fire felt so good on you. You didn’t’ feel pain anymore, but only a sensation of pure pleasure even if the sun was destroying both your bodies. In the last moment, between life and death, he looked at you with a sweet smile: “Thank ya!”
Then he held you tight and gave you one last kiss, as your bodies turned into dust.
***
I hope you enjoyed it and you didn't find the ending too tragic...idk why it came out like that...🤷♀️🤷♀️

seeing non-black people critique rick's portrayal of black characters is interesting sometimes. only like 30% of the critiques I see make any sense to me to be honest
#“rick made carter speak positively of elvis presley that's fucked up!” is a real thing I just read#do you think black people can't appreciate elvis even though he appropriated black culture for personal gain#boy you would not like what I have to tell you about eminem. or kpop. or anything else bc black culture has been#appropriated by like everyone forever. are black people not allowed to enjoy iggy or ariana or billie or [the list goes on]#I myself am not biracial but I /mostly/ like carter and sadie (specifically carter who isn't white-passing) as black representation#the part where carter feels indignant that he has to hold himself to a higher standard because the world is harsher on black boys#did genuinely resonate with me when I first read that part as a child and it still does to this day#can we talk about how rick knows nothing about black hair instead#or how hazel is from the jim crow era and seems to not have one single thought about race in the modern era#or hazel's horror over the amazons keeping slaves but “no they're not slaves they just like it that way 🥰”#my problems with hazel are not at all about stereotypes I just don't buy her as an authentic portrayal of a black girl from the 1930s#don't get me started on beckendorf. does every black character need to die a violent horrible death rick#anyways this isn't intended to make anyone feel bad but we need more meaningful nuance in critiques beyond “hey that's a stereotype! bad!”#if you can't discern and communicate WHY it's bad then you're not saying anything of substance#is it a caricature? is it uninformed/underresearched? are all the characters from that group being represented in that way?#is the stereotype itself a degradation of that group? is it being played for laughs? is the character a one-dimensional stereotype?#what can we glean about the biases of the author/narrative and their worldview through their portrayal of certain groups in the text?#a big part of literary analysis and critique is not only pointing out The Thing. you need to also say something about The Thing#like if you have a black character say they like hiphop then sure it's a “stereotype”. but lots of black people do like hiphop#it's an important part of black american culture and portraying that in media isn't racist by default#and in fact lots of poc keep parts of themselves quiet for fear of being perceived as a “stereotype” when we shouldn't have to do that#BUT if you're doing it like jonah wizard was written in the 39 clues then that's where we've got a problem bc wtf was that rick#that was so racist oh my god I was like 11 years old reading that 😭 and then he had the white mc poke fun at him for being a gangster#and him being a “gangsta” was always played for laughs throughout the story#not being pro-rick here as I'm a big fan of critical riordan reading just being pro-thoughtful critiques because some of you guys actually#sound a wee bit ignorant when saying things like what was mentioned in the first tag#baye.txt#pjo hoo toa#rr crit#<- tagging that just for. well the tags basically

a Papa Bear story
♡ PART IV ♡
Characters: Reader, Elvis Presley, Momma, Macy, Tommy, Danny, Mary
Summary: You get asked out on a double date with Macy.
Tags/Warnings: controlling!elvis, subtle themes of domestic violence
Word Count: 2,858
IT ALL HAPPENED so fast. You, Macy, Tommy, and Danny were talking one day after class, and Tommy had the bold idea to go on a double date. Him and Macy, you and Danny. Since the few weeks you'd seen each other at the Mall, you couldn't deny you were hoping something else would come out of it, but you never imagined it would happen so quickly, and the word date would be thrown around! Macy accepted on both of your behalf, and the matter was settled. Next Saturday you'd all go mini golfing and then to a diner afterwards. It would have been perfect if there weren't one not so tiny issue to deal with: you'd have to run the plan by your daddy first, who'd no doubt shut the whole thing down before you could say 'Jack Robinson'.
You waited on the ledge outside school for your momma to pick you up to go home. She was a little late getting there, but it gave you ample time to come up with some ideas to get your way. "Hey Momma," you greeted her, getting into the front seat.
"Hey, baby. What's got you so happy today?"
"Well, I got some good news."
"Good news? What's that?" She pulled away from the curb, glancing at you in curiosity.
"I got asked out. Well, not just me, but my friend Macy, too."
"A double date?" Momma whistled, "that's nice, dear. Your first one, right?"
"Yeah!"
"I'm real happy for you, baby. Not sure how your Daddy's gonna take it, though."
"Yeah..." You said quieter, fiddling with your hands on your skirt. "Actually, about that—"
"Oh no," she shook her head, interrupting you. "I'm not keeping this from him. He'll tan both our hides!"
"Well, no, not keep, per se, just if you could tell him real gently. Maybe he'd take it better from you. I... I really want this, and, and, he has a way of flying off the handle sometimes."
"Don't I know it. Listen, I'll break the news to him slow and gentle-like. I have my ways," she winked back at you. You had no idea what that meant, but you recalled the way he'd come out of their shared bedroom in a better mood than when he went in and figured it had something to do with that. Maybe your momma was magical. You wished she'd share it with you!
Later at dinner, which Elvis was able to be there for after getting a few days off from touring, your momma took over from Mary, the housekeeper, to serve him one of his favorite meals of all time, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. She did have Mary prepare a coconut cake, however, which would be served with dessert. Elvis slapped his hands together as he sat at the head of the table, grinning down as he was scooped his dish.
"Now this is a welcome home, honey," he smacked your momma's hide, although gently, causing her to blush as she went around to serve you, and then finally herself before sitting opposite Elvis at the other end. You sat adjacent to both of them. After saying grace, you all dug in; you were kicking your legs as you took in your first few bites. Your momma had surely outdone herself!
"Damn, oughta leave for longer next time," your step daddy groaned, eyes closing momentarily as he savored each bite. You pulled your fork away from your mouth which had some chicken pierced on it. "Don't say that, Daddy. I love having you home. We both do."
He turned to look at you fondly, holding your other hand under the table. "Oh, honey bee, I miss y'all too. I hate being on the road so long. It's real lonesome. And a helluva a lot worse on my stomach, too!"
You giggled, but out of the corner of your eye you saw your momma pinch her nose some. She always did that when she disagreed with something. Whatever it was, she decided to keep it to herself, and you figured it had to do with wanting to keep Elvis content when she broke the news.
"You slave away all day on this?" He asked. "No, not all day, but it passed the time. Was nice getting back into cooking again," your momma replied. Since you both came to Graceland to live with Elvis, he'd had his staff stay on and continue their jobs. Mary was in charge of cooking and other household affairs, and she took it very seriously. There was hardly a day your momma was allowed to cook, and while at first she loved the change of pace, she now missed the more mundane tasks.
"Well, if I didn't know any better I'd think you used my own Momma's recipe. She used to make this for me all the time back in the day." You of course had never known Gladys, but you heard so many good things about the woman. The way your daddy spoke of her she was practically a saint in his eyes.
"I'm glad you're enjoying it so much, dear."
"Mhm. Say, how was your day, darlin'?" He spoke to you first, eying you up as he kept shoveling food into his mouth. Your daddy sure could eat; as such he got the biggest plate, and he always finished what was put in front of him.
"It was good..." You said, glancing at your lap. "Yeah?" He hummed. "What was good about it?" You glanced at your mother in a way you thought was surreptitious, but only got your daddy's hackles up. "What was good about it, doll?" He pressed, now too glancing at momma.
"I'll tell you later, dear." Momma said as you too spoke: "I'm a bit tired," and that was a mistake, because Elvis stopped eating. Which was never a good sign.
"What happened?" He repeated. "Someone gon' tell me?"
There was an awkward pause, so quiet you could hear someone out mowing the many lawns of Graceland mansion. "Well?" Daddy's voice started to get testier. You figured it was better to be out with it; he was impatient and stubborn as a mule. He'd all too happily wait you out and be worser for it.
Momma spoke first: "Well, dear, Y/N here got asked out on a date. A double date," she emphasized, "so don't go blowin' anything out of proportion."
"Who said anythin' about blowin' anything out of proportion?" He said, strangely calm.
Momma opened her mouth, then closed it, choosing her words carefully as she too sat down her fork. "Well, you know, honey, I love you, but sometimes you can overreact—"
"Overreact? I'm perfectly able to hold my damn temper," he bit out the words, fist clenching around his napkin. It was utterly ironic, and you couldn't help the giggle that slipped from your mouth, much to momma's widened eyes.
Your daddy's head shifted to you so fast he might've gotten whiplash. "And you, lil' girl, what have you got to say for yourself? Huh? And what's so goddamn funny?!"
"Nothing."
"Yeah, don't sound like nothin'. Who is this boy, anyhow? Ain't I tell you to stay away from 'em? Didn't you promise me?"
"Elvis!" Your momma cried. "Now why would you tell her a thing like that—?"
"Shut your mouth, woman, I'm talkin'. Y/N, you're testin' my patience, speak up!"
Your good mood evaporated at his cold tone, and you saw your momma felt similarly hurt. He hadn't ever yelled at her from what you'd heard, and it wasn't something your real daddy ever did, so it frightened you some. You didn't ever think Elvis would lay a hand on you or momma, but his booming voice shook you to your core. You knew his mood could turn on a dime.
"Uh... U-um..."
"What," he said it like 'wot', his southern twang coming out more in his anger. "Out with it!"
"You're scaring the poor girl," Momma interrupted again, quickly silenced by a glare cut her way.
"H-he's just a boy from school. We're in the same grade together."
"Gimme a name."
"Danny," you whispered.
He stroked his chin, which was developing a five-o'clock shadow. "And how'd ya... hatch this lil' plan o' yours?" He sneered.
"Well, it wasn't really me—"
"Don't lie to me, hunny, you're already on thin ice!"
"I'm not," and you looked him in the eye as you said this. "It was another boy—"
"Another boy? How many boys you been talkin' too?!"
"Oh, Elvis, let the girl speak!"
"Didn't I tell you—"
"Enough!" You shouted. Both of your parents looked at you as if you'd gone crazy. Maybe you had. But you didn't like this! Your daddy had only barely come home and he was already ruining everything!
"Y/N," Momma cried in shock as Elvis went, "Oh, you're in for it now, Y/N Presley!" And you believed him, because he rarely used your name, preferring a term of endearment, and he never, ever used your full name. But all your feelings caught up to you then: you were angry he didn't understand you, and sad that he was being so mean to you and momma, and that he'd probably ruin this shot at happiness for you when you didn't even get to experience it. It was all just so unfair!
"Lil' girl, don't you dare run away from me!" Elvis warned, but you had already taken off, getting a head start that allowed you to climb the stairs faster and slip into your bedroom, shutting the door and locking it behind you. This was another one of your daddy's rules you'd broken: leave your door open, so that he can check on you. You imagined locking it was the equivalent of all hell breaking loose. At this point you didn't care, and besides, daddy was already so furious with you, so what was one more nail in the coffin?
You heard the doorknob jerking from left to right as you laid in bed with the covers over your head, sobbing. Faintly you heard your step daddy order you to 'open this door right now, or else!' You kept shouting 'no' and cried louder. Finally, Elvis seemed to give up, for it grew real quiet and the shadow under the door disappeared. You cried yourself to sleep that night, hugging your big bear to you that Elvis had won at a county fair one summer. It was your favorite bear, and even if you were angry at its owner, it made you calm down enough to fall asleep.
The next morning you slept in, wanting to delay the inevitable as long as you possibly could. Finally, the smell of pancakes and bacon roused you from your bedroom; your stomach was gurgling loudly from not having gone to bed early without finishing dinner. And you knew Mary made the best breakfast in town.
As you crept downstairs, rubbing your eyes, you heard your parents talking in hushed tones, heads bent towards each other. They lifted as they caught you coming around the corner. "Look who's up," your momma said, smiling tiredly. "How'd you sleep?"
Your eyes flit to Elvis, who looked not at all like himself. For one thing, he usually slept in later then you, so even half past eleven was early for him. But more than that, he looked defeated and continued to distance himself from you. You'd hoped he'd calmed down since last night, maybe even come around some. At least he wasn't yelling at you or momma anymore.
"Y/N?" Momma tried again to get your attention.
"Oh, quit you're worryin'. The girl looks fine ta me," Elvis muttered. "Certainly took her time comin' down here. Ain't realize we were such horrible company to keep. "
Momma frowned at him, sighing. "Oh, dear, don't be that way." She'd never say so, but she was starting to feel like there were two children she had to take care of in this household.
"And what way am I bein'?" He groused. She didn't bother answering, knowing it wasn't a fight he'd ever let her win. "I'm goin' back upstairs. Didn't sleep a wink last night."
"But you've barely eaten!"
"I lost my appetite," he bit out, striding past you, monogramed bathrobe whipping past him, stirring some air around you in his hasty departure.
You felt real awful, felt some tears accumulating at the corner of your eyes; you hated to see your daddy so upset with you, and it didn't look like it was anything you could do about it. He'd just have to cooldown. You worried you might have lost your close relationship with him in the process, though. Momma quickly came to comfort you, "Oh, don't cry, baby. Your daddy's just... havin' a hard time comin' around to the fact that you're growing up is all."
"That's it?"
"Yeah. He just needs some time alone right now." She looked at you. "For some reason he's got it set in his mind that you shouldn't be around boys. Said it wasn't proper, and was insisting on maintaing your purity."
"Purity?" You questioned.
"It's got to do with his religious habits, I 'spose. Anyway, I said that's not right to shelter a growing girl like that, she'd only resent him for it and be even more curious to seek out that attention from boys in ways that are even worse. Hell, it's what I did. Your grammy didn't even want me going to school with other kids and decided to homeschool me."
"Really? I didn't know that momma." She nodded. "Over time it caused a rift between us, and it wasn't until I was on my own for several years that we repaired it and I saw where she was comin' from, although I still didn't entirely agree with the way she went about it."
"Still," she went on. "Maybe I shouldn't a' said that, because he got himself all wrapped around the axel again at the idea of you following after me in that way and he went and spoiled his breakfast." She shook her head, laughing a bit. "Live and learn, I guess."
This was a lot of information for you to take in. "What should I do?" You asked pleadingly. "I hate to have daddy so upset with me. We never fight like this..."
"Just give him time," she reminded you. "And for God's sake, don't let this delicious breakfast go to waste!"
Later that day, Daddy was sitting out on the lawn tanning, reading a book. It had an angel on the front and you figured it had to be another one of his religious ones. He was always reading them. "Hey Daddy, can I talk to you?"
He didn't immediately do or say anything, and you thought he was now giving you the silent treatment, but finally he laid his book flat on his chest, peering over at you with a raised brow. "I'm listenin'," he said.
You shuffled back and forth on your feet as you tried to think of what to say to move past this rift between you two. You didn't want to give up your burgeoning freedom, but it was worse having him stay mad at you like this; you just couldn't bear it any longer.
"'M sorry for hurting you like I did last night. It was all so new and... and, I didn't even know what I was really saying yes to. I just wanted to fit in but none of that matters if I don't have my daddy anymore."
Some of what you said might've been the right thing, for he opened his arms wide to fold you into his embrace. "You have me, honey bee, you have me. But thank you for sayin' that, baby. I hate fightin' too, and I missed ya somethin' real awful. You know we ain't ever gone to bed mad? And I don't wanna start now." He began peppering you with kisses to your cheek and forehead, no longer held back. It made your heart sing to be close again with your daddy; when he was sweet like this to you there was no one that made you happier on earth.
"But ya gotta understand why I was so angry with you, pumpkin. Ya know that, right?"
You picked at his shirt where the buttons lay open on his big hairy chest. "Yeah, daddy, I know."
"I need to hear you say it, darlin'." He picked up your chin to look him in the eye with his forefinger.
"It's 'cause I disobeyed you."
"And how did you disobey me, hunny?"
"I agreed to go on a date with a boy."
"That's right, baby." He kissed you some more, real sweet-like. "Why's that wrong?"
"Because...because they're trouble and I'm a special girl, and you don't want nothin' bad to happen to me."
He hummed, looking like a weight was lifted off him. "That's right, satnin. My special, innocent little girl." He patted my hair with a smile so wide it made my heart hurt.

Blue Eyes Baby Pt. 16
End of the filming of Elvis...
It was getting close to the end of filming, Austin had a bit of filming for The International scenes and today was a day they were using a black jumpsuit that had gold embellishments and a black and gold cape.
The energy Austin had that kept through each take all day amazed Gabe. She was sitting in his chair behind the cameras and just watched the magic that Baz was creating with the help of Austin. It was one of the last takes for today and when Baz yelled action, Gabe bopped along in the chair to the music. About just over halfway through the scene, Austin slid his leg out to dip low, and you watched him freeze. When he didn’t continue on, cut was called and Gabe tilted her head in confusion. It wasn’t like Austin at all to stop halfway through a scene like this. Austin shifted back up and moved off the stage, making sure to keep facing the crowd. Gabe hopped up from the chair she was in and moved over to where Austin disappeared. Baz was right behind her and when they both stepped to where the backstage of the scene would be, Austin was talking with Cathy and both were laughing. Gabe was now completely confused and was quick to slip up next to Austin and laced her hand with his. “Everything okay?” She asked, looking between Cathy and Austin, the confusion clear on her face. Both just laughed more, though Austin was able to calm down enough to speak. “Yeah… When I dipped, The pant’s split on me.” “What? Are you serious!?” Gabe asked, her eyes lighting up with laughter as she bit her lip. “Yeah. Cathy is going to have to work some magic to fix this.” He said, turning just enough so Gabe and Baz could see what he was talking about. Both just started laughing, Gabe pulled out her phone and was quick to snap a photo. “Babe, this is too good! I am so sending this to Ashely!” She said between bouts of laughter. “Dove!” Austin said in faux shock at her taking a photo, though that only lasted a few moments before he was laughing himself again. “Well I guess that is where I’ll call it for the day.” Baz said before he left to let the extras and everyone else know they could leave. “Dove, I would love to get changed into something more comfortable.” Austin said as he laced his hand with hers once again. Gabriel nodded and walked alongside him back towards his trailer so he could change. “Well you ended the day with a snap.” Gabe snickered. Austin rolled his eyes and looped his arm over her shoulder, her arm up over her chest, fingers still laced. “You could say that. Though it could have been a whole lot worse, that’s for sure. I’m just glad it was only the jumpsuit that ripped. Otherwise that would have been a completely different kind of show.” “Yeah, I am not willing to share that part of you with anyone.” Gabe said with a smirk, looking up at Austin. “I’d hope not. And you know I’m all yours.” He said while kissing her forehead. When they reached his trailer, Austin opened the door for Gabe. She stepped up, turned and gave him a soft kiss. “Love you Aus.”
“Love you too Gabriel.” With that, Gabe stepped into the trailer, Austin closing the door behind them and then started to remove the large belt from his waist. Gabe took it from him, laying it on the arm of the couch and then helped him with the cape which she draped over the back of the couch. Austin was quick to slip out of the boots before he started to shimmy out of the jumpsuit. Once he was stepping out of it, he felt Gabe’s fingernails scratch lightly over his back. A sigh and happy moan slid from his lips, a full body shiver taking over him. “That feels amazing, Dove.” Austin murmured out, his eyes closing in pure bliss. When she moved her fingers down to just under his shoulder blades, his body shifted back into her hands and she grinned.
All she could picture in that moment, was if he were a dog, he would be a golden retriever and his leg would be kicking so intensely. He tilted his head back, just feeling everything from the day drain from him. Gabe worked her way down his entire back slowly before sliding her arms around his waist, leaning her head on his lean back. Austin rested his arms over hers and gave her hands a soft squeeze. When she stepped back, Austin headed to the bathroom to shower off and Gabe took the outfit and ran it to wardrobe for Cathy quickly and was back before he was done. They got back to the hotel with enough time to go out for dinner together. They were seated in the back corner of the restaurant, more private and quiet for them. A few people would glance over but no one came up asking for a photo or anything.
The next few weeks were finishing up filming for the end of the movie and then the last week was spent doing any reshoots that were needed. On the last day of filming, they were at the Graceland set. Both Austin and Gabe loved this one, it was beautiful, quiet and so peaceful. When the end of the day rolled around, everyone was gathered around, and a cake was brought out. Some champagne was popped open and everyone cheered at the end of filming. Though it was bittersweet. Everyone had become family, a home away from home.
As everyone parted for the night, plans were made for breakfast the next morning before packing would start to be able to head home. When Austin and Gabriel got back to their suite that evening, they spent time just relaxing and curled up together. Gabriel had grabbed a book while Austin was just happy to lay with his head in her lap. When she started to run her fingers through his hair, he closed his eyes and smiled. “Read to me?” He asked softly, cracking his eyes open to look up at her. “Sure, I was just about to start one that I remember having read to me as a kid.” “You were read Grimms Brothers Fairy Tales as a kid?” He asked, blue eyes looking up at her around the book. “Yeah, I have always loved them.” Gabriel said before opening up to ‘The Singing Bone.’ As she began to read, talking about the two brothers, Austin closed his eyes again, relishing in her voice and her fingers in his hair. By the time she was halfway done with the story, Austin was sound asleep. Gabe smiled and continued to read for another hour or so before gently waking him up so they could go to bed and get more comfortable.
The following morning Gabe and Austin met up with Tom and his wife, Baz and Catherine, Olivia and a few others. There were lots of laughs and stories shared, numbers were traded that hadn’t been before. It was a sad moment when everyone started to split off to go pack their things to leave for home. As Austin and Gabe packed their things up, it was bittersweet. This had become home to Gabe, though she was excited to get to Austin’s, well now it was their house, back in Los Feliz. It took the rest of that day to pack everything up, and the following day they arranged a flight to get to LA. Between the two of them, there were three large checked bags, a carry on each, and then their backpacks. Their flight would be that evening, and they would fly through the night. Getting to the airport and their bags checked, Austin looped his arm around Gabe’s shoulder as they headed to the terminal they needed. Gabriel stayed tucked against him until they had to sit down and wait for the flight to board. They found a corner that had a few empty seats where they waited and watched the people. When their flight started to board, they were quick to get on. Austin had gotten them seats in first class so they had that extra room to not only be able to sleep but to have some more privacy. Gabe buckled herself in, and when Austin was settled in, she curled into his side, head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, kissed her forehead and then put an earbud in to listen to some music while they took off. Gabe was out by the time the take off safety instructions were finishing up and the plane started to move. Austin was asleep not long after that himself.
